With Splatoon‘s first free post-launch content and Nintendo Network maintenance having already happened so far this week, Nintendo have now pushed live a software update that upgrades the game’s inky-innards to Version 1.2.0.
Simply introducing adjustments “for a more pleasant gaming experience,” the update must be applied for you to continue taking on other Inklings online in Turf War and Splat Zones.
You’ll be able to see “Ver. 1.2.0” displayed on the title screen once it’s been successfully installed, and your save data won’t be affected.
