Nintendo Treehouse: Live @ E3 took a rather extensive look at Genei Ibunroku #FE (Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem) with producer Shinjiro Takata, revealing a notable tribute to Callie and Marie – Splatoon‘s Squid Sisters.
The Inkopolis idol group’s signature song plays when a particular ‘Duo Arts’ is used in battle. These are unlocked as the relationship between individual characters is improved during the course of the game’s storyline, and are a nod to Fire Emblem’s dual attacks.
Genei Ibunroku #FE (Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem) will release exclusively for Wii U in 2016.
