Nintendo has announced that Splatoon‘s last ever Splatfest will take place next month.
This promises to be the most divisive Splatfest yet, seeing warring Inklings select their favourite Squid Sister – whether that be Callie or Marie.
Once their decision has been made, players across Europe and North America will then compete to decide the ultimate winner after global results have been tallied.
The Splatfest will run from 10am BST (11am CEST) on Friday 22nd until 10am BST (11am CEST) on Sunday 24th July.
Ahead of this, the Art Academy Miiverse community is inviting aspiring artists to share their drawn creations around the theme “Splatfest memories.” This has now started, running until Wednesday 13th July after which selected pieces will be shared on the Splatoon Facebook page.
Nintendo has also confirmed that the Squid Sisters live concert that takes place at Japan Expo in Paris next week will be shared on their YouTube channel. While Wii Karaoke U by JOYSOUND will add three Squid Sisters songs – “City of Colour”, “Ink Me Up” and “Calamari Inkantation” – on July 28th.
