Seemingly negating any chance of success in the Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot, Nintendo have shared that they will release new Mii Fighter costumes inspired by Splatoon‘s Inkling characters.
The Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl Mii Fighter costumes will be released over summer, although precise details as to how they will be distributed are yet to be shared. However, those in the United States can claim the Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl costumes as a pre-order bonus for the Wii U exclusive at GameStop.
Splatoon will launch exclusively for Wii U in Japan on May 28th, and everywhere else worldwide on May 29th.
