The Nintendo Network has already undergone a significant maintenance window this week, which has affected Nintendo Network ID usage, online play and rankings.
Now, Nintendo has scheduled more maintenance that will see Splatoon‘s multiplayer antics taken offline for just over an hour. That will happen in the early hours of Wednesday night, so I doubt that there will be many people trying to sneak another Turf War match in at that time.
We can speculate that all of the tinkering this week suggests that Nintendo’s preparing something in secrecy, but we’ll have to wait and see precisely what this is.
