Nintendo has released a new software update for Splatoon 2, that sees the ink-based shooter now on version 4.4.0.
The, once again, extensive update has made changes to the Kelp Dome stage, as well as many main weapons and special weapons that you can wield. The Ink Resistance Up gear ability has also been changed, marginally increasing how much time it takes before you start taking damage.
That’s not all, either, with Nintendo addressing multiple issues that have been identified in Ranked Battle and Salmon Run modes, as well as the shoulder strap of a player’s ink tank disappearing after being splatted or falling into water.
Another issue where the red line on a player’s ink tank would appear incorrectly in Clam Blitz while throwing clams has also been fixed.
Splatoon 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
