The Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine has teased that Nintendo will share Splatoon 2 news that will “shock the world” next month.
That will happen on Saturday 9th June, which is just days before E3 2018 starts. It is unclear what this news will be about, but many will likely expect it to be related to the Octo Expansion.
The first paid downloadable content that will be released for the ink-based team shooter, it will introduce the chance to play as Agent 8 – an Octoling that has lost their memories – in a new 80-mission, single-player campaign that, once completed, will let you play as Octolings in multiplayer.
E3 2018 will take place between Tuesday 12th – Thursday 14th June at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
