With just over a week to go until the Splatoon 2 Global Testfire, Nintendo has confirmed that Inklings will splatter their turf in two new stages. These are The Reef and Musselforge Fitness, which will be chosen at random throughout the event.
The Global Testfire will run at set times between Friday 24th – Sunday 26th March 2017, and will let players test four different main weapons such as the new Splat Dualies, and “remixed versions” of the classic Splat Roller and Splat Charger.
Musselforge Fitness
This state of the art work out facility contains a bouldering gym, a regulation-sized pool, and all the treadmills you could ever want. Judging from our research, today’s Inklings are foregoing the calisthenics and aerobics for more back-to-basics, iron-pumping workouts.
The Reef
Inklings call this new area “The Reef,” presumably because it’s a popular area to hang out when it’s not being used for Turf War. The Reef is located a few blocks from Inkopolis Square, and it’s home to some of the most popular boutique shops in the city.
