Prepare to ink your territory once more, as Splatoon 2 unleashes 4-on-4 turf battles on Nintendo Switch.

The Wii U breakout hit makes a return in this full sequel, which promises new stages, fashions and weapons, such as the two-handed Splat Dualies. New stages, fashions and weapons will be added after launch, as seen with the original game.

Players will be able to compete on their TV screen or on the go. Whether they choose to use the Joy-Con or buy a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, gyro controls will help players aim their ink.

With local and online multiplayer matches supported, Nintendo has added that Splatoon 2 will support voice chat using the new Nintendo Switch smart device app. There will be a free, limited version of the app that will become available this summer.

Splatoon 2 will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2017.
