Spiritfarer Receives Second Gameplay Trailer

Thunder Lotus has released a new trailer for Spiritfarer on Nintendo Switch, which “shines a spotlight on the game’s more dynamic platforming levels.”

These serve as a counterpoint to the game’s cosy management gameplay and emotional narrative.

In creating Spiritfarer, the developer has looked to deliver an experience that is both entertaining and emotionally moving.

You play as Stella, ferrymaster to the deceased, and, after building a boat to explore the world, must befriend and care for the spirits that you encounter before finally releasing them into the afterlife.

That will see you farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook, and craft your way across mystical seas, with the chance for a second player to join you as Daffodil the cat in cooperative play.

Spiritfarer will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2020.
