Kongregate and Double Stallion have released a new gameplay trailer for Speed Brawl, their stylish, anime-inspired 2D combat racer.
Set in a dystopic Victorian-era London, after a decade-long war the British Empire has finally vanquished the insect-like Selenites. Soon being put to work to spark a new industrial revolution, they usher in an era of progress and prosperity.
But, when the middle and working classes became disobedient the ultimate sport, Speed Brawl, was created, where only the bravest, fastest, and most worthy warriors could wage a petty war against the Selenite hordes.
Promising to throw you an all-out bloodsport as you fight your way through the dank streets of a dystopian London, players are forced to maintain their momentum while using their remaining energy to unleash powerful special moves.
You can expect to find physics-based contraptions and interactable objects like poles, explosive barrels, boost pads, and deadly circular saws that you can use to take out your enemies.
Speed Brawl will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in September.
