After it was locked in for Valentine’s Day, Playchemy has announced that Space War Arena’s release on Nintendo Switch has suffered a slight delay.

Promising starship combat on a grand scale, Ecco the Dolphin creator Ed Annunziata has led development on the game – which is an homage to the original Spacewar!, released in 1962.

You can build an armada from 30 different evolving units, adapting to your enemy as you command your fleet to destroy their bases and claim their space.

Space War Arena will release exclusively on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 28th, with pre-orders opening on February 21st.
