Xenoblade Chronicles X producer Shingo Kawabata has revealed that Monolith Soft are working with Sound Racer for the Wii U exclusive’s sound effects, Siliconera reports.
The studio are working with sound effect designer Shojiro Nakaoka, improving the game’s audial prowess across both the Japanese and western builds. The company specialises in sound design for games and movies, and previously worked with Monolith Soft on Disaster: Day of Crisis, Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse and Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra.
Their other output encompasses Mistwalker’s Terra Battle, SEGA’s Sonic Colours, as well as Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy VI through to Final Fantasy X-2 with Square Enix. Which makes for quite the impressive CV!
