Paramount Pictures and SEGA have revealed the first trailer for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 movie, offering a first look at the blue blur’s next cinematic adventure.
After settling in Green Hills, Sonic (Ben Schwartz) is keen to prove that he has what it takes to be a true hero. That test comes when Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) returns to Earth with a new partner, Knuckles (Idris Elba), on the hunt for an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations.
Looking to avert disaster Sonic teams up with his own sidekick, Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessey), both setting out on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands…
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will release at cinemas across the United Kingdom on 8th April 2022.
