SEGA has teased that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is in development for Nintendo Switch.
With a “distinct racing mechanic that promises to transport Sonic racing fans into a new dimension,” this next racing game will continue to build on Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing, Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed, and Team Sonic Racing.
While little more is known about the game, Sonic Stadium caught metadata on the SEGA Asia website that suggests that players can expect to “race across land, sea, air, space, and time.”
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
