SEGA has confirmed a digital release date for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, which will hit the Nintendo eShop next month.
To be priced at £64.99 ($69.99), those who own Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on Nintendo Switch can choose to purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack for £10 ($10), with content and progress able to transfer over. The Upgrade Pack will be discounted to £5 ($5) for launch week, until Thursday 11 December 2025.
The game’s resolution and performance in TV mode and Handheld mode have been outlined, meaning that you can expect the below:
- Docked mode, single and 2-player split-screen: 2560×1440 at 60 frames per second
- Docked mode, 4-player split-screen: 2560×1440 at 30 frames per second
- Handheld mode, single and 2-player split-screen: 1920×1080 at 60 frames per second
- Handheld mode, 4-player split-screen: 1920×1080 at 30 frames per second
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 4 December 2025.
