SEGA has teamed up with Limited Run Games to produce a Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Collector’s Edition, which will be available for Nintendo Switch.
Priced at $249.99, pre-orders will soon be pushed live on the Limited Run Games website and remain open until Sunday 6 July 2025. The Sonic Racing CrossWorlds Collector’s Edition will include:

In Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, courses that include land, air and sea terrain make their return, with a new addition in the never-before-seen Travel Rings feature that affects the race in real time by transporting racers to all-new CrossWorlds mid-race.
Set to offer “the largest roster of characters in any Sonic racing game,” you will also be able to customise your vehicles – mixing and matching vehicle parts, powers and abilities to create a racing experience that suits your gameplay style.
Through free post-launch updates, your favourite characters from the Sonic universe will be joined by familiar faces from other SEGA franchises such as Persona 5 Royal’s Joker and Kasuga Ichiban from Like A Dragon, as well as guest characters like Hatsune Miku.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 25 September 2025. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is “coming at a later date,” but it is confirmed that there will be a paid upgrade path for those who purchase the game on Nintendo Switch.
