SEGA has announced plans to launch Sonic Mania Plus on Nintendo Switch, a physical release that will speed into retailers worldwide this summer.
This will include two new playable characters in Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, a new Encore Mode, a four-player Competition Mode, and comes in a holographic package with a SEGA Genesis (or SEGA Mega Drive) reversible cover, a 32-page art book.
Sonic Mania Plus will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide in summer priced at $29.99, and those that bought the game digitally will be able to buy an upgrade on the Nintendo eShop that adds the new content.
