SEGA has released the first Sonic Mania Adventures episode, which are five short animations that will welcome you back to Angel Island.
The story starts with Sonic arriving back after the events in Sonic Mania and Sonic Forces, but soon notices that something is already wrong. There are huge holes that have been dug in the ground, and Eggman has started to capture more animals.
The five episodes will have a connected story, and you can expect them to be released roughly one month apart from each other.
For those that are interested, the SEGA Shop has some exclusive Sonic Mania Adventures merchandise which is available to those in the Americas, Australia, and New Zealand.
