SEGA and ReedPop have confirmed that Sonic Frontiers will be playable for the first time in the United Kingdom at EGX London 2022.
The ExCeL London exhibition and international convention centre will host the event from Thursday 22nd – Sunday 25th September 2022, at which attendees will be able to experience the blue blur’s upcoming adventure. Tickets are now available to purchase through the EGX London 2022 website.
Revealed at The Game Awards 2021, the iconic blue blur is set to star in his “first-ever open-zone-inspired gaming experience” which has been led by producer Sachiko Kawamura and director Morio Kishimoto.
With the chance to explore the visually stunning, open-zone realm called Starfall Islands, you can “accelerate to new heights and experience the thrill of high-velocity open-zone freedom” – landscapes packed with dense forests, overflowing waterfalls, sizzling deserts and more.
SEGA had revealed that the game was originally planned for a 2021 release, but was delayed “to improve the quality of the title.”
Sonic Frontiers will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Holiday 2022.
