SEGA has released a Sonic Forces demo, presenting a chance to take the blue blur’s adventure for a spin before launch.

At the moment it is only available from the Nintendo eShop in Japan, and comes with three stages that let you see what it is like to play as Modern Sonic, Classic Sonic, and the customisable Hero Character.

The problem is, that these stages are timed – meaning that there is no way that the player can complete any of them.

It was recently confirmed that, on Nintendo Switch, the game would run with a 720p resolution at 30 frames per second whether docked in TV Mode or undocked in Handheld Mode.

Sonic Forces will release for Nintendo Switch worldwide on November 7th.
