Nintendo of America has teamed up with Sonic Drive-In, which will see Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam toys appear in the restaurant chain’s Wacky Pack.
Between 19th April – 30th June 2016, those that buy the kids meal – which includes popular food such as hot dogs, chicken strips, apple slices and juice – will receive one of five toys based on the Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
Each are different, with one Mario toy racing across the room on wheels, another seeing Paper Mario and Luigi on a spinning top, and another two resembling the folded-up paper look of the papercraft battles seen in the game.
“Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam combines the charming world of Mario & Luigi with the colorful Paper Mario universe,” commented Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of sales and marketing. “Sonic Drive-In is the ideal location to premiere the very first toys based on this unique collaboration.”
