Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric may have been a resounding disappointment, but, if there was one element to SEGA’s transmedia reboot that we enjoyed, it was the accompanying animated television series.

EGA and Technicolor Animation Productions – who were formerly known as OuiDO! Productions – has announced that all episodes will become available to stream in English and Spanish later this month, exclusively on Hulu in the United States.

That will cover the entire first season that has been broadcast so far, which amounts to a whopping 52 11-minute episodes.

“We developed this series so that it would resonate with both old and new Sonic fans, and have seen tremendous success for our first-ever CG animated series,” comments Ivo Gerscovich, SEGA’s chief brand officer and head of Sonic business.

“As we move into Sonic’s 25th anniversary this year, we’re excited to build on the momentum of our TV, games and merchandising successes as we expand Sonic beyond games and into multiple entertainment categories.”
