SEGA has confirmed a worldwide release date for Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 on Android and iOS devices.
Pre-registration is now open which presents the chance for all players to unlock rewards that will be available at launch. Those reward targets are:
- 100,000 pre-registrations will unlock the “Ocean View” music track from Team Sonic Racing
- 300,000 pre-registrations will unlock Training Points that can be used to unlock events and special skills
- 500,000 pre-registrations will unlock the badge featuring Miraitowa, the Tokyo 2020 mascot
- If the number of pre-registrations passes 500K, additional rewards will be offered – stay tuned!
This upcoming mobile game will invite players to join team Sonic to compete with other players from around the world in 15 action-packed events at the Olympic Games.
The events will include Karate and Climbing, and there are Extra Events that feature “gimmicks from the Sonic universe.”
The game will also have online competitive play between countries and regions, which will see you compete in Weekly Rankings and more.
Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will release for mobile devices worldwide on 7th May 2020.
