Annapurna Interactive has announced that Gorogoa will see release on Nintendo Switch this week, which has been described as an elegant evolution of the puzzle genre.
The game, which has been developed and illustrated by Jason Roberts, is told through beautiful hand-drawn panels that require the player to arrange and combine them in imaginative ways to solve each puzzle.
There are thousands of panels that have been meticulously illustrated to express Gorogoa’s personal narrative, which the developer has expressed carries it beyond a game to become a work of art in its “soulful, charming illustrations and distinguished puzzle mechanics.”
Gorogoa will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on December 14th, priced at $14.99.
