Solus New Super Mario Bros. U To Be Removed From Nintendo eShop

Nintendo of Europe has announced that New Super Mario Bros. U will be removed from the Nintendo eShop on Friday 15th April.

It will sound like an alarming move given that the Wii U exclusive has sold more than 5.08 million copies worldwide, but coincides with the new additions to the Nintendo Selects range arriving at retailers.

That will see the listing for the mirthful Mushroom Kingdom platformer replaced with the New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U bundle version, priced at the rather bargainous £19.99 (€24.99).

We adored the Wii U exclusive at launch, writing in our review: “New Super Mario Bros. U delivers a joyous experience that very much kick starts Nintendo’s Wii U ambition.”
