Nintendo has pushed live a software update for Puzzle & Dragons: Super Mario Bros. Edition, their background tinkering upgrading the puzzler to version 2.0.
That adds the chance to register score rankings, new Score Attack courses, new characters and transformation options, encouraging players to revisit the Nintendo 3DS exclusive.
Nintendo outlines the update in their patch notes as follows:
- Adds ability to register scores in rankings against friends, per region or worldwide
- New courses added to Score Attack
- Adds new characters, including several Mario and Luigi leader characters
- Provides further transformation options
- Introduces additional enhancements to improve the user’s experience and enjoyment
