Aksys Games and Dreamloop Games have announced that their social thriller Inescapable: No Rules, No Rescue will release on Nintendo Switch.
Set on a tropical island resort, you have been kidnapped and are forced to participate in a twisted reality TV show alongside 10 strangers to entertain its depraved audience. With no rules or laws for the contestants to follow, your only imperative is to survive and will receive $500,000 if you make it to the end.
The game’s story will explore “human nature and how far people will go for social clout, wealth, and their own desires – and how much further they might be willing to go when they have permission to ignore the rules.”
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Multiple narrative paths
- A provocative character-driven story
- A diverse cast of characters with intriguing personalities and backstories
- Hours of voice-acted dialogue
- A full-length original soundtrack with music from Zero Escape’s Shinji Hosoe and Matias Lehtoranta
Inescapable will release at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Fall 2023.
