SNES Classic Edition Controller Cords Are 5-Feet Long

If there was a common complaint about the NES Classic Edition that wasn’t aimed at how overwhelming consumer demand had led to stock shortages, it was that the controller cords were too short.

That saw players resort to buying third-party extension cables, and, with the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition, Nintendo has looked to lengthen the distance that you have to sit near the miniaturised replica.

That will see the cable length now sat at five feet long, which is two feet longer in comparison with the controller’s cable that came with the NES Classic Edition.

Nintendo has also confirmed that Super NES Classic Edition production is “significantly” higher than the NES Classic Edition, meaning that it should be far easier for everyone to get hold of one.
