Yacht Club Games and Mechanical Head Games have announced that Cyber Shadow will release on Nintendo Switch, a “quintessential” ninja platforming action game.

After the world is taken over by synthetic lifeforms, a desperate cry for help leads Shadow on a quest to uncover how the planet ended up on the path to perpetual ruin.

With authentic 8-bit presentation and hand-crafted sprites, you must dash, slice, and leap your way through the ruins of Mekacity.

Rescuing your clan will reward you with permanent Ninjutsu skills and abilities, needed to help you topple more than a dozen apocalyptic bosses – from enormous war machines to your synthetic clan rivals.

“It’s a huge honor to work with Aarne Hunziker on Cyber Shadow,” explains Yacht Club Games game director Sean Velasco. “We understand more than most what a massive undertaking it is to bring a game you’ve been dreaming about for years into the world. We’re here to help Aarne deliver his vision – taking care of the ‘boring stuff’ so that he can do what he does best!”

Mechanical Head Games founder Aarne Hunziker adds: “Working on Cyber Shadow has been exhausting but amazing at the same time. I’m thrilled that Yacht Club Games has taken an interest in my ninja game. It feels surreal for sure, and I can’t wait to see what comes next.”

Cyber Shadow will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide priced at $14.99.
