It won’t only be Wii U, Wii, or Nintendo 3DS that you can enjoy Skylanders Trap Team on this year, with Activision having announced that they will also release a tablet-version to coincide with the console counterpart’s launch.
This will be available on iPad, Kindle Fire and Android tablets, promising “console-quality graphics.” Contents within the Skylanders Trap Team Tablet Starter Pack will include a Bluetooth Traptanium Portal, an embedded Bluetooth controller, a built-in tablet stand, two Skylanders characters, two Traps and a display tray. Phew.
You won’t have to use the controller, however, with on-screen touch controls also supported. Everything’s probably made far clearer within the short video below, so feel free to watch!
Skylanders Trap Team will release for Wii U, Wii and 3DS across Australia and New Zealand on October 2nd, North America on October 5th, and in Europe on October 10th.
