Activision has shared more details about Skylanders SuperChargers Racing, referring to the Wii and Nintendo 3DS version as “a complementary, dedicated racing combat game.”
It promises all-new tracks that have been augmented with power-ups, boosts and hazards, that amount to “up to 50 different and exciting gameplay experiences.”
Those that purchase the Nintendo 3DS version will be able to take on up to four players in competitive multiplayer, either by Local Play or online through the Nintendo Network.
Skylanders SuperChargers Racing will release exclusively for Wii and Nintendo 3DS in North America on September 20th, and in Europe on September 25th.
So does this mean that the Wii version will not have a story mode?
