Activision were the creative spark behind the toys-to-life category, and continue to see remarkable success with their Skylanders franchise.

Nestled in with their Skylanders SuperChargers announcement, the publisher has shared that the franchise has genereated a coveted $3 billion and has sold through more than 250 million toys since 2011’s Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure.

It has been annualised since with Skylanders Giants in 2012, 2013’s Skylanders SWAP Force, and last year’s Skylanders Trap Team. The hook with Skylanders SuperChargers is that it will introduce vehicles for the first time, allowing players to travel by land, sky and sea.
