Fans will soon have the chance to learn more about Skylanders, with Activision having partnered with IDW Publishing to produce a comic book series.
This will be penned by Ron Marz, with Mike Bowden and David Baldeon as lead artists, and will take readers on an adventure through Skylands with characters from the franchise.
The first issue will act as a prequel to the Skylanders Trap Team storyline, delving into the history of the game’s characters, and will provide the first glimpse at more new arrivals.
The comic will make its debut at Comic-Con International: San Diego 2014, Skylanders #0 being an introductory 16-page story, character guides and back-up information that will be available in print and digital formats.
The Skylanders comic book series will launch in October, set to be distributed across the following countries: United States, Canada, France, Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Australia and New Zealand.
