4J Studios and Puny Astronaut have announced that Skye Tales will release on Nintendo Switch next year.
Pitched as a “gentle puzzle-adventure game designed with mindfulness and accessibility at its core,” you will have the chance to discover the valleys of Brinn where you will lend a hand to the townsfolk as Skye the friendly dragon.
With “relaxation and playfulness” key to the experience, you will be encouraged to take your time and enjoy the sights, sounds and sensations of the world around you. You can expect enchanting landscapes to glide through, a cast of colourful characters to interact with and adorable accessories to unlock to make sure that Sky is the best-dressed dragon in Brinn.
“Skye Tales is the perfect introduction to gaming for children and adults,” explains Puny Astronaut managing director Cian Roche. “There are still so many would-be players out there who just need a welcoming game with a lower barrier of entry and plenty of parents worry about the effects of overstimulation when it comes to traditional children’s games. Skye Tales takes a gentler and more sensory approach to gaming, focusing on the journey just as much as the destination.”

Skye Tales will release digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2023.
