Atypical Games has announced that Sky Gamblers: Afterburner will release on Nintendo Switch this week, re-imagining Sky Gamblers: Infinite Jets in what the developer hopes is a “genre-defining jet simulator” for the portable home console.

The single-player campaign will see you unravel a story of great bravery and despicable treason that spans the globe. Or, you can challenge the best pilots online in competitive and cooperative modes that include Team Deathmatch, Free For All, Defend the Base, Capture the Flag, Last Man Standing, Survival, and more.

With the chance to steer your aircraft with either the Joy-Con, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller or motion controls, you will soar over Rio de Janeiro, San Francisco, Hawaii, and other locations.

You can also unlock, upgrade and customize 30 contemporary and futuristic planes, helping you to take down the armed adversaries that you will face.

Sky Gamblers: Afterburner will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on February 7th, priced at $19.99.
