Another Indie and Dark Star Game Studios have announced that Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption will receive a free software update this month.

The update will be made available on Tuesday 19th February and will add New Game+. This introduces three new challenges in The Trial of Speed that grants you swiftness in exchange for losing invulnerability during dodge rolls, the Trial of Consequence that makes death permanent and the Trial of the Sinner that combines both modifiers – promising to be your greatest challenge to overcome yet.

There will also be a new boss in the Cowardly Modic, a deadly armored chicken that, once defeated, will reward you with two weapon sets based on those that other bosses wield – twin swords, and a sword and shield combo.

In Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption you play as Adam, a soldier who hides a dark past that must set out on a journey for absolution. That will challenge you to defeat monstrous beasts based on the seven deadly sins to reconcile his heinous crimes who will reveal their personal connections with him as he advances his quest for atonement.

Before he duels each monstrosity, Adam must sacrifice a part of himself and accept a permanent debuff. That ultimately means that battles will become increasingly difficult with each sacrifice – reducing his vitality, his arsenal breaks down and his armor withers away.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide, priced at $18.99.
