Akupara Games and Party for Introverts have announced their narrative vampire horror game Cabernet is coming to Nintendo Switch.
Set in a 19th century Eastern European-inspired world with a modern twist, you must guide Liza, a young vampire who struggles with her morality and the supernatural world she has been pulled into.
In an experience that explores themes of social conflict, alcoholism and corruption, change threatens the established ways of alluring supernatural aristocrats. Will Liza retain her humanity or descend further into the horror that she has become?
The publisher has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- Higher Society: The Countess has invited you to a world of decadence and intrigue. What price does she ask you to pay?
- Sacrifice or Sacrilege: You were once like the humans of this town. Decent. Well-meaning. Flawed. Will you protect them or abandon them in your new unlife?
- Dusk to Dawn: Your time is your own. Will you learn, hunt, ensnare or save in the time you have while the sun is down?
- Unleash the Fangs: The freedom of flight. Hiding as an invisible ghost. Entrancing your meal with a gentle song. How will you use your new power?
Cabernet will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in early 2025.
