Silicon Studio, developer of Bravely Default and Bravely Second: End Layer, has announced that they are collaborating with Mistwalker on a new game.

Beyond the announcement few details were shared, with only concept artwork of presumably the game’s protagonist providing any indication on its direction. News on the game’s name, release window and destined platforms will come at a later date, although there was no indication as to when that will be, either.

Mistwalker founder Hironobu Sakaguchi recently led a creative media masterclass at Hawaii’s UH West O’ahu Library last month, at which he confirmed that Mistwalker had returned to console development.

Whether Silicon Studio are involved with the same project is unclear, but we’re left hoping that their development experience would see it release on a Nintendo platform.
