PQube, Dual Effect and Abstract Digital Works have revealed that Tormented Souls is in development for Nintendo Switch.
This “modern take on the fixed-perspective adventure” takes inspiration from survival horror classics from Resident Evil to Silent Hill.
After Caroline Walker is lured to the small town of Winterlake by fate – or perhaps something far more sinister – she must fight for her life, for answers and to escape from the decrepit hell that she explores.
While investigating the disappearance of twin girls, something terrible happens to Caroline and she wakes in the dead of night, naked in a bathtub and hooked up to some worn-out medical equipment.
Now she must explore the halls of an abandoned mansion turned hospital, combining items to solve puzzles and using every resource available to her to uncover the secrets behind the building and its grounds.
Tormented Souls will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
