New Metric Media and Treewood Games have announced that Shoresy: Legends of the North is in development for Nintendo Switch.
This “pick-up-and-play sports game” is based on the hit Crave and Hulu comedy series Shoresy, in which the titular character and the Sudbury Bulldogs of the Northern Ontario Senior Hockey Organization set out on a quest to never lose again.
There will be two game modes that you can participate in:
- Story Mode: Put on the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs sweater in the original narrative-driven Story Mode and play alongside Shoresy on an epic hockey adventure to defeat the legendary Hockey Godz. Create your own character, level up your stats, and unlock new gear in this hockey RPG campaign.
- Shinny Mode: Go head-to-head with friends in the local multiplayer Shinny Mode by drafting your team of fan-favourite characters to run ‘em up and fill ‘em in. Charge your fight metre to knock out your rivals or grab a power-up to gain an edge.
Shoresy: Legends of the North will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2025.
