ShopTo announce changes to their Gold & Silver membership scheme
ShopTo have announced “exciting” changes to their Gold and Silver membership scheme that they award to regular customers.
This will see the independent specialist retailer directly discount orders placed by customers, replacing their previous system that saw you accruing points per order that could be used as a part payment toward any future order.
“We are updating you regarding an exciting change to our membership scheme for all Silver & Gold customers,” the retailer shared with customers.
“From February 7th our points system will be replaced with direct discounts. This means instead of receiving points per purchase to use against a future order, the order will be discounted immediately at checkout to offer a new lower price depending on your membership level. All existing pre-orders you have will also be automatically reduced in price in accordance to your membership level. Full details will be made available on our membership T&C page from February 7th.”
As of writing their membership terms and conditions are yet to be updated, although Gold and Silver memberships were freely awarded to those that purchased 30 or 12 items respectively within a 12 month period.
They continued, “We will be implementing further benefits to our membership scheme over the coming months which we will be updating you with accordingly. We appreciate you will still have points to use though, so don’t worry you will not be losing these. You will have until August 31st to use any remaining points before these are automatically removed. Thank you for your continued loyalty and custom!
“Please note: Bronze membership will remain unchanged and points will still be issued upon purchase.”
