Bonus Level Entertainment has announced that Fox n Forests will release on Nintendo Switch, their Kickstarter-backed 2D 16-Bit style action platformer.
Inspired by all-time classics like Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Wonder Boy in Monster World, and ActRaiser 2, as well as the Castlevania and The Legend of Zelda series, players will wield a magic melee crossbow that can not only be used for ranged and close combat but empowers you to seamlessly switch between two seasons per level.
That gameplay mechanic lets you completely change the whole environment, revealing new secrets, tricky skill tests, and new areas to explore.
With pixel-perfect platforming, screen-filling bosses, rich bonus levels, powerful potions, bags of loot, stuffed shops, clever backtracking, and upgradeable shots promises, it certainly looks set to pack a punch.
Fox n Forests will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2018.
