Capcom has announced that Shinsekai: Into The Depths is now available on Nintendo Switch.

In this action-based deep-sea exploration game, you are the last-surviving human who finds themselves in deep in an unexplored, aquatic world.

In your efforts to escape a rapidly approaching ice age, you must collect resources, upgrade your gear and craft new items that will allow you to descend even deeper into the abyss.

You will need to keep a close eye on your oxygen and pressure levels to survive, helping you discover the secrets that are held within mysterious ruins.

The developer re-recorded music and sound effects being played through submerged speakers so that they could “create an extra level of underwater realism.”

Shinsekai: Into The Depths comes to Nintendo Switch with the new Another Dive time-challenge mode, in which you “must descend through a perilous maze as quickly as possible in order to confront a new monstrous threat.”

There is also a new Jukebox mode that will let you listen to your favourite background music at any time, and alter audio filters like music depth.

Shinsekai: Into the Depths is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
