With its existence having been leaked through a LinkedIn profile yesterday, the rumoured revival of SEGA’s Shinobi franchise has today been confirmed – outed as a title set to feature within the forthcoming June 2011 issue of Nintendo Power.
Having contacted a SEGA representative regarding the leak, VG247 were initially met with a “No comment” before being promised “Keep your eyes open for something official coming your way later this week.”
An unfinished teaser trailer has also prematurely hit the internet that details the history of the Shinobi franchise, although it lacks audio – we’ll post the finalised version when SEGA formally announce the game.
