Sheik, Darunia and Princess Ruto are playable characters in Hyrule Warriors

Weekly Famitsu has revealed three new playable characters for Hyrule Warriors, each plucked from arguably the most renowned entry within Nintendo’s illustrious franchise, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Sheik, Darunia and Princess Ruto will each make an appearance, introducing Princess Zelda’s alter-ego, Gorons and Zora to the mix respectively. That brings the revealed playable character roster to 10, comprising of two male and eight female characters – Link, Princess Zelda, Midna, Agitha, Impa, Lana and Fi.

Hyrule Warriors will release exclusively for Wii U across Europe on September 19th, and North America on September 26th.
