Having taken slightly longer for the half-genie to appear elsewhere other than North America, WayForward have announced when Europe, Australia and New Zealand can expect Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse to arrive.
Shantae’s latest adventure will see her partner with old nemesis Risky Boots, as they look to prevent the Pirate Master from bringing doom upon Sequin Land. Shantae’s genie powers were lost at the conclusion of Risky’s Revenge, meaning that this time around she’ll have to use Pirate Gear to help progress throughout the game.
Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse will release for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in Europe, Australia and New Zealand on February 5th.
