Having recently delivered DuckTales: Remastered, WayForward have announced that they are seeking to self-publish Shantae: Half-Genie Hero through securing necessary funds on Kickstarter.
The latest entry within their Shantae series, the game’s events will follow on from Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse which is set to release for Nintendo 3DS later in the year.
Now in full 1080p HD, WayForward’s latest creation will be developed for Wii U, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Steam, as long as it receives the $400,000 support necessary.
Further details will be revealed throughout the 30-day Kickstarter campaign, which has already gathered $93,062 from 2,778 backers.
