XSEED Games and Marvelous Europe have announced that a playable demo for Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle is out now on Nintendo Switch.
This will let you experience the game’s first chapter, in which you will meet your classmates and learn the basics of the Shadowverse card battles. The best news is that you will then be able to carry your progress to the full game once it launches.
Based on the anime adaptation of Cygames’ strategic multiplayer card battle game Shadowverse on mobile and PC, in Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle you play as a transfer student to Tensei Academy where you are introduced to the Shadowverse card game by your classmate, Hiro Ryugasaki.
Teaming up with the Shadowverse club president (and only member) Rei, you set out to master the popular card battle game and win the national championship to restore the club to its former glory.
Progression will reward you will new cards to strengthen your decks, while a Battle Pass system will offer cosmetic leader skin rewards and other in-game bonuses unlockable by completing missions such as winning online matches.
Shadowverse: Champion’s Battle will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch in North America on 10th August and across Europe on 13th August 2021.
