SEGA held a Sonic Boom fan event in New York over the weekend, at which they revealed a new trailer for the incoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS exclusives.
There’s a sense of dread about it all, Shadow being kicked through a portal while Metal Sonic menacingly looks to derail the iconic blue hedgehog as he speeds along a course. We flit between gameplay and cutscenes from each version, before the trailer closes on antagonist Lyric as he mocks Sonic’s team for trying to defeat him.
Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for Wii U and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal for Nintendo 3DS will release across North America on November 11th, and in Europe on November 21st.
